New Heart Pine
Our Alabama New pine is milled to order; we do not mix and match from boards in bins. This means your entire order was dried and milled together, ensuring a better fit during installation and a much easier acclimation process. All of our floors are 3/4 inch thick real wood, built to last. With a minimum of 50% visible heartwood, these floors look amazing with a clear coat or finished for age.

Grading based on heart content
Each grade is hand selected, making the word select redundant in marketing- so we skip it. We offer various grades to suit every preference and budget. Our #2 Rustic Southern Pine has knots but not enough heartwood to be called Heart Pine, which must have 50% visible heartwood. Caribbean Heart Pine boasts a minimum of 85% visible heartwood. The amount of heartwood dictates the price, ensuring we have a grade for every budget and style.

Southern Yellow Pine Direct Profile and Grade by Species
Why choose real wood from Southern Yellow Pine Direct?
Real wood takes time, and since time is money, most floor covering companies choose to sell floor coverings because every seven years they get repeat business. Our “one house one floor” promise is not popular with most contractors, especially if they sell covers such as carpet, engineered floors, vinyl, or laminate. Laminate is not real, and engineered will not last. Buy real wood floors that last.
